Ted Bauman's New Video Posted by Peter Gunther Just Won't Help
Almost exactly three years ago I posted about cancelling my subscription to the Bauman Letter. That post receives more comments than the rest of my blog combined.

Still, as most of you know, I do agree that a financial crisis is coming. What shape it takes, none of us really know.
Since Nixon disconnected the US dollar from the national gold stores in 1971, our government has been free to print fiat currency at will. Lately, they've done so, to the tune of about $27 million per day. Every day. *
The consequences of such reckless behavior will have dire consequences. We'll have to prepare, and I'm not entirely sure how to do that.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing produces 38 million notes a day with a face value of approximately $541 million. That doesn't mean there is $541 million more money circulating today than there was yesterday, though, because 95% of the notes printed each year are used to replace notes already in circulation.
