Fallout 76: Wanted
[UPDATE] Here's a map to everything in FO76 to-date.
This will be quick, because I need to get back into the game.
Yeah, it has me hooked (poor Darling).
Wait! Oh No! Scheduled maintenance!
They need to fix some things... A few of the quests we've done are bugged. One cannot be completed. If you're stuck, a quick internet search on the quest name will let you know if you can finish the quest.
[UPDATE] It's a 15GB download and install. Specific updates are on the Bethesda site.
WANTED. TRex walked into someone's camp two days ago and looked around. After a few minutes, he became WANTED and the defenses targeted him, even though he did nothing aggressive (so he said). The owner came back and TRex killed him. WANTED indeed! The only way to remove the bright red tag is to have someone kill you.
[UPDATE] I got some of that story wrong, but there is a pacifist selection in the game so you don't need to worry about PVP. I don't know if it protects you from nuke attacks. Probably not. You can only select it from the in-game Settings menu once you reach level 5.
TRex hates that. He created a second character. He's already leveled past me. Yeah, he's that good...
We still have some problems teaming up, sometimes requiring us to reboot our machines totally.
We figured out trading, but the mechanic needs another button - like "Take All." Right now you need to select the other player items you are willing to trade, one at a time. Also, they default to a certain number of coins. For teammates, it should default to zero. Right now, the fastest way to trade seems to drop the items on the ground.
TRex has played with a base a few times. The ugly experience hasn't scarred him yet, but close. You spend your materials to make a base and then it gets rolled up with a base blueprint. Small footprint and go tall seems to be the best idea. He did lose a few turrets, though, including the mats to create them.
As usual, killing a legendary enemy gets you a special item.
Mine dropped a tambourine. I laughed when I got it. A tambourine? LOL.
It's awesome.
More soon...
